As a military wife enlisted i know what it is like to be alone with two children and my husband is off somewhere sometimes i done to even Quot know where or for How Long. My husband did not pretend that everything would be glamorous and easy and agreed to go with open eyes and an open mind. The part i done to understand is Why so Many spouses Are complaining continuously. What do these people expect their spouses Are in the military. A available to defend and protect our country at a moments notice and yes there Are times that this requires training and practice for extended periods of time away from the family. A i think this whole Quality of life thing is a joke. Most spouses done to have anything to do All Day. Except complain. You May laugh at this but really think about it and then decide. Look  complainers you know. The army provides housing medical dental great buys at the commissary and Post Exchange and Many other benefits that you would never have with a civilian company. Where else could you have All this without Ever having to pay a dime for it if you Are upset quit blaming the army and get off your backside and go out there in the real world and s6e what it is like. I briefly looked through the brochure and found that alas we still have the same old Campaign. The Csc As it was once explained to me is the result of an Effort by numerous charitable organizations to obtain donations from members of the . Armed a services. A. / \ Csc consolidates those solicitations into one program which is conducted once a year. Here is the problem the criteria Tor inclusion As a soliciting member in the Csc has become so open that virtually any organization can get a a piece of the  at Reading this members in the Csc Hierarchy will immediately Challenge my statement and cite regulations which authorize the Campaign and establish the criteria which i criticize. I have to stress that it is not charitable organizations with which i find fault. My Point is that the Csc has become something other than that which it was intended to be one does not have to look too far into the 1994 brochure a the very first organization listed a to find solicitors who Are much less than worthy to receive a Charr Itable contributions. First on the list is the United Way of America whose recent history reveals a scandalous misuse of millions of dollars in contributions. Then there a the close up foundation whose stated purpose is to a encourage responsible participation in the democratic process through educational programs. A i give up. Any argument that Csc is not government sponsored can easily be refuted by the fact that the Campaign is conducted by service members during duty time using government  few years Back i believe it was in 1990, a local Illinois i believe United Way organization removed the boy scouts of America from their list of organizations eligible for contributions due to the fact that one of the tenets of scouting is a commitment to a god and  although the scouts were reinstated after a successful Battle the fact remains that these huge campaigns have gone astray.
