It is certainly a credit to Safe that they have been Able to provide this level of Competition for their All stars. Itis a contest that has received much publicity and rates High in fan interest. Recently it was revealed in the stars and stripes that de Hutt had selected 33 All stars for the initial Safe Camp which was to open the following Mon Day. I could not help but notice that of the 33 chosen 25 were from the Csc football Confer ence. Surely the us deserves a better representation. It May also be of interest to some that out of the 25 Csc All stars 15 were from either wies Baden or Pitburg. None have come from Rhein main or upper Heyford As yet but they will. As food for thought just imagine the individual Effort made by those players who were not on winning teams but still managed to rank 1 through 7 in the final Csc statistics. Remember Bob Gray and Carl Rittenhouse Don t these people have the right to be All stars it would seem to me that the yearned it by outperforming their counterparts though in Many cases they were at a consider Able disadvantage. After All they Are playing against the Best teams not the worst. I would Hope that in All fairness these people should be Given the Chance to show what they can do against a College team As Well. To be perfectly fair Many of the players deserved to be selected As they worked hard All year to make it. This system of picking the All stars does not represent the vast amount of individual Talent that lies within the Safe foot Ball program. To Many it is be ginning to look like the All Star game against Rhode Island will not Only be a farce but a disaster As Well. But i believe the morale Benefit received through the live telecast of this football game would offset any loses of Revenue incurred by scheduling the game at Ramstein rather than at Rhein main. Filming of this game for telecast at a later Date May be planned by an to but this is still a far cry from the live telecast that would have been possible if the game had been scheduled for Ramstein.
