There is also morning sickness irritability stretch Marks heartburn constipation water retention weight gain Back aches leg aches Pelvic pain More nausea shortness of breath childbirth classes and labor pains. All the above Are considered Normal in pregnancy. Sometimes there Are complications such As to Xemia which can be extremely dangerous even fatal. A few minutes of sex in t Worth the risk. Questions answered on str weight allowances my question is after All e-7 and above arc authorized full joint travel regulation str allowances Why Aren t e-6s to be granted full str with families there has been a lot of Money paid out by because of not under standing the str. I should be granted More than 4,400 pounds As an e-6 with a family and so do other enlisted. Some officers Are being granted More or a number of pounds to snip German sch ranks Back stateside with no problems but it is hard for enlisted. Since we Are under separate policy we should have set weight allowances for example Al through e-5, 5,000 pounds e-6 and e-7, 6,500 pounds e-8 and e-9, 8,000 pounds. Most enlisted try to move to the Economy to avoid problems with on past quarters. There Are so Many problems and policies with str that they Are not Clear because they seem to change every year. Name withheld Batu bolder Germany i Learned of something recently at my local transportation office which has me completely baffled. No one at that office could answer my questions so possibly you can obtain an answer for me. A single e-6 is authorized to ship 500 pounds of unaccompanied baggage and 500 pounds of household goods from the slates to Germany. An unaccompanied e 6 u authorized the same entitlement. A command sponsored e-6 with one de pendent Over 12 Yean of age is entitled to ship 2,000 pounds of household goods 500 pounds of unaccompanied baggage for the member and 3so pounds of unaccompanied baggage for the dependent. I understand these entitlements As both the single e-6 and unaccompanied e-6 would be eligible to live in the billets. I believe these entitlements Only apply to army personnel. However the entitlements upon return to the Continental United states confuse me. The non command sponsored e-6 is still Only authorized 1,000 pounds to Send to the United states. The command sponsored e-6 is still Only authorized to ship a total of 2,850 pounds to the United states. However the single e-6 is authorized to ship 2,000 pounds of household goods and 500 pounds of unaccompanied baggage. Why is there such a big difference in the weight entitlements upon return to the United states Why is the single e-6 authorized so much additional weight while the unaccompanied e-6 and command sponsored e-6 receive no additional weight entitlement these weight allowances arc the same for e-4s with Over two years of service and e-5s. I Hope someone can explain the Dif Ference to me. Name and location withheld i m writing this letter to air a grievance and to find out what office is responsible for establishing the Grade Cut off on full str allowance authorization. My letter is prompted by a recent response from a spokesman from the office of the Deputy chief of staff logistics has Usa eur to another Servic Mcm Bers letter. The response indicated that army accompanied members assigned to Germany in grades e-7 through e-9, w-4, 0-4 and above arc the Only Servic Mcm Bers who Are authorized to ship a full str allowance. I do agree that these members should have a full str allowance., but 1 do not agree with the weight limitations placed on other officers w-t/w-3, and 01-03. My particular Case is a prime example. I am a cw2 p with 15 years in scr Tehran reunion we Are looking Lor termer students lec ully. Administration and parents once Assoc laced with the Tehran american school in Iran. A reunion and other cell Vulles Are being planned. Please Alrec a inquiries to the Tehran american school association . Box 2mos san Antonio Texas 71729 a inquires will be answered promptly. Joseph r. Can Dell president Tehran american school association san Antonio Texas ice. I have a wife and three children. I have been in the service Long enough to acquire a tangible amount of furniture and the privilege of raising i rec children. The reason i mention the service time accumulation of furniture and the number of children is because i suspect that these were the primary factors thai were used when attempting to determine the pay grades that should be allowed a full str allowance and those which would have to live with the restricted allowances it w3 and 01-03. The restricted weight allowance that i must live with is about 3,000 pounds. 1 Don t feel this Type of restriction is commensurate with my pay Grade and time in service. I already know that the weight restriction program was initiated to help save Money on transportation costs that affect the Overall budget. I support trying to save Money but i do not feel that the pay Grade Cut off is fair. Arc there any proposals on the drawing Board to eliminate this unfair policy i would also like to know the source of this directive As i would like to know if changes can be made if necessary. I encourage other officers who Are restricted by this policy to write to inc proponent Clement responsible and express their dissatisfaction. Chief warrant officer Oswald Hall Frankfurt editor s note a spokesman from the office of the Deputy chief of staff logistics he Usa eur replies we do thank the writers for providing us an Opportunity to respond to i hair questions particularly since a clarification May assist others in similar situations. This is a joint reply from Usa eur transportation and housing management. It has always been the commander in chief Usa eur policy to provide full got Crement furniture support for soldiers of All grades stationed in Germany. How Ever due to funding constraints and Lack of adequate furniture during fiscal years 1978-81, Usa eur recommended to he department of the army that selected grades be authorized to ship their full str household goods hug weight allowance to duty stations in Germany. Usa eur As Well As he department of the army understood that this was Only a temporary measure. The main reasons for this decision were 1. Supplement non available government furniture. 2. Make maximum use of existing As sets. 3. Reduce unnecessary intermingling of government furniture with privately owned hug. Certainly the above policy was not in tended to penalize any group of soldiers or establish certain privileges for others. With the shortage that existed a line had to be drawn somewhere. The Choice was correlated with housing categories used in Usa eur. Policy was established purposely to protect the majority of our soldiers inter est ensure that hic Are not being ship Ped White government furniture is readily pen pals i am in la Vear old girl who would like to Corre Spond with other boys and Girts my age. It is most unlikely i a i full str weigh allowance will Ever be approved for All soldiers. With congressional and Aqda sup port we Are now in a position to augment our averaged inventory and move toward providing full government furniture sup port to All soldiers regardless of Gradi. When effective All grades will again become administrative weight restricted. After full government furniture support becomes effective All army personnel making a permanent change of station to Europe will be limited to the administrative weight. We cannot predict with any certainty when this change will take place. Specific questions about return weight to the United states require additional comment single members serve the same tour length As married members with dependents and Are therefore granted an equal weight allowance on return from overseas. Members below e-7, w-4 and o-4 serving a with dependents tour arc administratively weight restricted. However members May request a weight increase upon return to the United slates on an individual basis when meeting certain Cri Teria. The service member should con acl his or her local transportation office for More detailed information. Married members who elect to serve the Shorter tour without dependents do not receive the same weight allowance As members serving a full tour. However again the overseas command May Autho Rize an increase to these members on an individual basis when circumstance War rant. The andllllpesx6 juo.-s5 european edition capt Dale k.
