Kurt Rebmann the chief Federal prosecutor said tuesday that Horta Astrid Willnor 45, a Secretary in Chancellor Helmut Kohl s office and her 59-year-old husband Herbert had defected to East Germany and were suspected of being spies. Government officials said mrs. Willnor had Access to classified material but they denied a report she May have seen secret information about the Star wars mis Sile plan. The defection of the couple raised to six the number of West germans who fled to communist East Germany and were sub sequently accused of spying in the past six weeks. One of the six Hans Joachim Tiedge was one of West Germany s top counter espionage agents when he fled aug. 19. West German Security officials con firmed that Tiedge who was responsible for counterintelligence operations against East Germany knew the Willners were under suspicion.
