It s a  town not much More than a main Street ,1 Lew shops a Church and hotels. But it s Friendly reasonable and surrounded by great scenery. Most of Pinzolo s guests Are italian. In tin summer some come to hike or climb but most Are Content just to relax and enjoy an escape from City stress. In the Winter they come to ski. Pinzolo has ski slopes of its own. The big slopes of the Well known resort Madonna i Campiglio Are just 12 Kilometres away. In Winter and summer a visit to the Nardis waterfalls is a must. The postcard perfect Falls Are just outside of town in a nature preserve crisscrossed by trails for easy hiking. The surging Mountain Stream fed by tons of water barrelling Down from the High peaks is no less a sight to Admire. A Stop at the Albergo cased a Var tvs just adjacent to the alls makes the excursion Complete. The Albergo has an excellent restaurant the place to try local specialities such As pave Rad. A spicy Peppery sausage is served with polenta a Northern italian Type of moist Corn bread and smothered in a Rich sauce. The rest Grant s Forte is game also Worth trying. Three of us had a main course of separate dishes of wild boar Deer beef and wild mushrooms plus More polenta. Cost for this delicious adventure including wine Coffee and dessert Blueberry tart was about $20 per person. Riva Del Garda a resort town on Lake Garda one of Italy s exquisite Mountain lakes is just about an hour s drive from Pinzolo and a delightful place to spend a Day. Take a boat ride and Marvel at the Riva Del cards is a major resort on Lake Garda in Italy s Dolomite Region. Surrounding sights ancient Villas tucked into coves the peaks of the mighty dolomites climbers clinging to Rock faces of mountains that abruptly end at the water s Edge windsurfers skimming along the surface or crashing into the Chilly water.
