The program was held on Patton Field at Rose Barracks in bad Kreuz Nach West Germany which is Home to the . Army a 8th inf div. Members of the 8th inf div band performed while More than 300 cub scouts and some parents and scouting officials participated in opening ceremonies on Patton Field above. Fortunately for both the cub scouts and spectators alike rays of Spring Sunshine appeared during the Competition which lasted almost four hours. The fitness conscious cub scouts took part in such activities As football kicking baseball throwing an obstacle course javelin throwing and two running events. Refreshment tents had been erected by 8th inf div troops. After their rigorous physical workouts the cub scouts and organizers and visitors were certainly Happy to replenish All that lost Energy with the help of lots of hot dogs hamburgers and soft drinks.
