A Community command plan also know As the huh Community concept has been devised to restructure and realign communities while retain ing the Best facilities to provide the Best support for soldiers and their families. The Hub Community concept is . Army Europe s answer to the Challenge of reducing and streamlining our Community Structure in proportion to the reduction in soldiers and families need ing that support. Instead of Many diverse individual communities communities Are being arranged into hubs to reduce by reaucrac1 in and in Headquarters staffs. The goal is to streamline the Way services Are provided by eliminating Middle men. As in competitive business everywhere the idea is to Maximi a customer service and satisfaction while reducing Over head costs. Management and administration of communities is being consolidated into a regional Hub called an area support croup. An ask much like a brigade Headquarters will be relatively Small. It will be a planning managing and allo Cating Headquarters that sets policy for a base support battalion which actually provides services and manpower to accomplish each Community support mis Sion. V corps presently has three area support croup hubs one each in Frankfurt i Lanau and bad Krecu Nach sri in serving nine base support battalions in major communities.
