Scores of soldiers solemnly looking through hardened eyes at the military remnants of their friends unable to Harden their hearts against the pain within. The Price of peace a Price politicians Couch in terms of a acceptable Quot but then politicians done to fight wars they Only Start them. Sol Dicks fight them. Soldiers die. ,. To soldiers there will never be an Quot acceptable level of lost friends lost comrades lost soldiers. We weep for each and every one. While military leaders gathered at an iraqi air base to discuss terms of peace task Force 1-41 soldiers gathered at a nondescript spot in the kuwaiti desert and mourned the Price of those talks. All combat soldiers who fought fear frustration and the enemy during operation desert. Storm Are heroes. But with bitter reluctance we must accept that some heroes die. /  staff sgt. Tony Ray Applegate sgt. David Ray Crumby jr., spec. Manuel Michael Davila and pfc David Walter Kramer gave their lives in a Dusty desert hell soldiers doing a soldiers Job. They were eulogized by their friends a fitting goodbye to those who have left our ranks. They arc missed by All who shared their lives by those of us who share their occupation by those of you who know what a special person a Soldier is. And although i did no to know these riven i would guess that they did no to fight for the Flag or Macri Ca or any other stirring patriotic reason. Those arc no doubt reasons they joined the military in the first place. -. /. But i would guess that they fought for a child a tender embrace and trusting eyes for a wife a Sweet kiss and soothing voice for a friends playful ribbing and valued companionship. They fought for each other they fought to go Home. They did no to make it. We must not forget them. A Little piece of every professional soldiers heart and soul Dies when one of his own Dies in War. I Hope those responsible can find other ways to Settle their differences. We have few pieces a left to give.
