Rain fell overnight in the nation s capital and by saturday evening the wet weather was expected to extend up the East coast from the Middle of the North Carolina Shoreline to Maine. Rain was also expected in parts of the Southwest including most of new Mexico Southern Colorado the Texas Panhandle and Western Oklahoma. In Oregon and Washington temperatures were expected to drop As much As 20 degrees compared to temperatures Friday. But tropical air was expected to remain in the Southeast.
