Students have become accustomed to proms and graduations at lavish hotels or opulent City buildings with Crystal chandeliers he said. Sporting the theme spellbound and colors of Gold Silver and White the students want to make the prom on May 30 a extra extra special instead of just extra special a Harrill said. The revival of the less Standard tradition of a May Day Celebration is in the works for the month of june said Gonzalez who is the student Council treasurer. A multitude of plans Are in the works according to senior class sponsor and substitute teacher Helena Brant. The students rejected the idea of someone not affiliated with the school coming to their ceremony. They opted for a graduation that involved the friends of Stuttgart High. The alumni association is inviting members of previous classes a dating Back to the first graduating class in 1953 a to attend the ceremonies. Teachers will have the Opportunity to accompany students on the graduation procession. Students will sing the German and american National anthems and possibly parents will sing the class song Biant said. A rare pos graduation reception is planned to Welcome visiting alumni and say Farewell to the graduates.
