Then last week More than six months after its stateside debut and More than three months after the film nabbed oscars for Best movie and for Spielberg As Best director the holocaust drama finally hit the military circuit. While the wait for Schindler s list was unusually Long such delays in obtaining films for distribution in the military circuit Are symptomatic of a situation that will probably never change. The fact is the army and air Force Exchange service and the Navy motion picture service Are not in the starting lineup when the major Hollywood studios draw up game plans for distributing their would be blockbusters.
