Williams is luxury car dealer Joey o Brien the kind of Salesman we Veall met at one Lime or another the kind of Salesman who when he sees a stalled funeral procession tries to sell a new Hearse to the undertaker. And then makes a pitch to the bereaved widow. Joey has a Mountain of problems. His philandering ways a favorite motto is Quot so Many women so Little Cash Quot have Cost him his wife Pamela Reed he owes $20,000 to the mob and he shaving affairs with two unstable women fran Drescher and Lori Petty. What a More he has an a hanging Over his head a the Auto Dealership wants to Lay off a few employees and Joey is a prime target unless he Sells 12 cars in 48 hours he s history. So he does t need someone like Larry Robbins crashing his motorcycle through the showroom window and spraying bullets every which Way. It seems that Larry suspects his wife Donna Annabella Sciorra Secretary at the Dealership is fooling around with one of the Salesman. It turns out that Donna is about the Only female Joey is not fooling around with a in this Case it s the Dealership owner s son Paul Guilfoyle who is doing the honors. But with Larry waving his automatic Rifle in everyone s laces Joey stands up to take the blame himself. What s left is a sort of hostage captor improvisational skit. Donaldson who has had his ups no Way out and his Downs cocktail As a director can t keep this one trom falling into the mediocre Range Williams saves Cadillac Man from being an overt disaster but that s not enough to allow it any More than two stars.
