All my time spent As a dependent and now having 14 years of service and four children of my own i feel confident in saying Dodds teachers Are the very Best. Jimmie Wilder Iii Berlin to War ranted prayer Mav i address the letter a unwanted prayer religious discrimination is the most pervasive form of discrimination in the entire world. As a child in new England i was chided and openly scolded for being lutheran. The lords prayer ends differently in the Catholic version and 1 was caught reciting the trailer phrase when prayer was mandatory. The result was that i was made to sit in the rear of the class and i was never forgiven by my Catholic teacher. Now 1 am in my 40s with  20 years in the military. I am agnostic. 1 think practically and i am extremely offended when i am forced to leave a ceremony when a chaplain gets up to preach the word. I support the writers statement that no Public or government function should begin with any reference to a god a unless homage is paid to the thousands of other religious figures who Are praised throughout the world. I consider this mandatorily mandated official invocation and the like an invasion of my right to believe or not to believe. It is regrettable that Arthur Fletcher received so Many complaints about the school system but on what basis can he claim that racial discrimination is a a endemic were each of the complaints substantiated citing an a a instance or a another occasion does not justify the use of the adjective  was the Case of Black students being told or was it encouraged to form their own gospel group actually a misguided attempt by someone to promote minority Opportunity if the students had asked to form a gospel group but were told to join the choir would racial discrimination still be claimed in my dealings with Dodds teachers in Asia and Europe i have encountered a healthy prejudice toward stupidity and ignorance but never race. The topic of race never entered into discussions of children except in an attempt to understand family dynamics such As language or cultural differences among korean or turkish or filipino parents. Undoubtedly episodes of racial discrimination do occur and it would be beneficial for All of us to reflect on whether we allow race Creed rank or whatever to influence our decisions about other people.
