Thorpe said that she has been insured by Blue Cross Blue shield and by medicaid but that neither would pay for removal of the implants because it was considered cosmetic surgery. The claim could not be verified Friday. Because she is an army and air Force Veteran Thorpe said the procedure could have been performed at a a Hospital in Albuquerque . But she said the surgeon there would not Promise to give her Back the removed implants which she said she would need for a potential lawsuit.
