In a twist to a Normal deployment,526th members will remain in a Tempo Rary duty or try status until april 1,when their status shifts to a permanent change of station even though their Loca Tion remains the same. Part of the reason for the 526th s unusual deployment is the timing involved in eventually replacing the 944th tac fighter group an air Force Reserve unit that deployed to Aviano from Luke fab ariz., according to a news release from the 401st fighter Wing s Public affairs office in Aviano. And corps almost always responds with no comment due to ongoing  Elora disappeared Between 1 and 4 . Sept. 15 from her family s fourth floor apartment in the army housing area at Babenhausen Cavern. Her Muti lated and sexually abused body was roundabout 7 30 . Near a water filled Rock Quarry about a Quarter mile away. Investigators have refused to say How they think Elora got out of the apartment or to provide any other details of the crime. The usual Way of identifying a body is to View it Patton said. However that was not done in Elora s Case because of the conditions of the crime scene. She did not explain those conditions. Viewing of the body at the scene would have been insensitive to the feel Ings of sergeant Mckemy Patton said. Mckemy also said he still has been unable to get his household items from his former Babenhausen Home. Patton said the Home is sealed because it is a crime scene. The stars and stripes obtained a copy of a request from Mckemy to Spe Cial agents John Greely and Kenneth Zawodny of the Darmstadt Cid seeking a inventory of items in his Home and a list of items that have been taken from his  denied the request Mckemy said. He has requested some items Pat ton said. After coordination with Ger Man police they were released to  however Mckemy said he receive some of the items last week but not his boots.
