It will continue throughout february which has been designated As Black history month. In the lilting accent of his native Haiti Desroches 38, explained that Art came easy , even As a Young student in Haiti he showed expertise. He recalled How a teacher once suspected him of cheating on an Art assignment and lowered his Grade. When other students who were aware of their Friend s innate skill protested Desroches went to the chalkboard and created a freehand drawing. The teacher raised the Grade. Art is a part of me he said. I guess everybody is gifted in  is Ken George his family moved to America for greater opportunities in 1972. He graduated from High school and joined the army in 1974. Desroches is self taught he said. Years of con Stant sketching drawing and experimenting have Al Lowed him to evolve through pen and Pencil to Watercolour to Oil painting and now to airbrush Art. I paint every Day. Every single Day i try to do a Little bit he said. After work. Weekends  in airbrush work the paint is mixed with pressurized air and pushed through the nozzle of a Small air gun held in the artist s hand.
