An additional 40 cities have joined the program voluntarily As part of a larger Effort to improve air Quality nation wide. a the Oil and Gas Industry estimates that the change will affect More than 48 Mil lion motorists in 17 states. By Early 1995, nearly one third of All gasoline sold in the United states will be the new reformulated blend. Epa administrator Carol Browner speaking at a news conference called the reformulated gasoline initiative the most important fuels program since this country got Lead out of its the Epa phased Lead out of gasoline in 1986. Local Market pressures will determine How much prices will Rise they a Surprise move Pennsylvania air Quality regulators Friday announced that about 28 counties in the state would opt out of joining the program apparently to avoid passing of higher gasoline prices to Consumers " o.--.
