A spec. Tina m. Romero Nurnberg Germany no winners in this game i am writing to voice my displeasure on a softball tournament that was held in Wurzburg on May 8-10. The tournament was a fund Raiser which was sponsored and run by the 4th platoon 3rd my co. The tournament was run Amateur richly at Best with Many problems. Our Aschaffenbur Community team had lost a game the previous evening and was scheduled to play at noon saturday according to the schedule that was Given to us. When we received the schedule there were changes made in pen Over the typewritten schedule. We arrived in Wurzburg at approximately 11 . And were informed that our game was supposed to Start at 11 . And that we were late. We explained the situation played the game and won. After the game the team we beat a co 703rd support appealed the loss because we arrived the tournament director accused our team of a doctoring the schedule Quot and called the game a forfeit eliminating us from the tournament. Hours of the same schedule we had were found posted in the Leighton gymnasium. When these were presented to the tournament director he reversed his decision allowing us Back into the tournament. Within 10 minutes he again changed his mind stating he would a stick with his first decision a it should he noted that an Appeal was not presented until after the game. According to Asa rules the game is official and cannot be overruled. The Umpire on site informed the tournament director of this but he would not listen. 1 feel that he owes the Aschaffenbur team a Public and personal apology. A Richard a. Black americans must forgive the mistakes of the past and help heal our Peoples scars. But we must also continue to cry out our heritage and teach both Black and White that there a More than just skin color. The government has offered $100,000 per dump. The government has promised native americans Many things throughout history and later lied or cheated its Way out of it. They know the indians will jump at the Chance to pull themselves out of a depression that the government put them in in the first place. Now the indians have a Chance for financial advancement but the Price they pay is the risk of being slowly and fatally poisoned if something should happen to the dump Sites. The government says that these dump Sites Are Only temporary. Officials will take All the time they want building the permanent dump site and if they decide not to build the Sites they will simply weasel out of yet another contract with the rightful owners of a once pure and Beautiful America.
