Kirsch scored twice in the girls big schools soccer final As the Lions roared past the Wiesbaden warriors 5-2 saturday for the title. The Victory gives Heidelberg its third straight big schools title and the fifth title in the last six years. Heidelberg also has won the Ger Many aaa conference championship six years in a Row. The lady Lions also picked up their second big schools championship in the 1992 half of school year 199192. They captured the basketball championship in february. Kirsch starred on that Bas Corigliano netball  basketball cohort and current teammate Veruska Corigliano also scored in the soccer title game and was named the most Valu Balc player in the tournament. Heidelberg Rode into the second half with a 3-1 Lead and never looked Back at the warriors. Wiesbaden got goals from Debbie Moseley and Jeri Lowe. The girls title Chase became an aaa conference affair after thursdays opening round action. All a conference representatives were eliminated that Day. Heidelberg advanced to the title game on overtime goals from Corigliano and Kirsch on Friday in a 3-1 Victory Over Ramstein. Wiesbaden earned a championship game berth with a 4-1 win Over Kaiserslautern. Kaiserslautern made the Best out a Tough situation on saturday by dropping Cross town rival Ramstein 3-1 in the Consolation game. Misty Cornett scored twice and Roxanne Best added another goal for the red raiders who also got eight keeper saves from Jane Aimua. Kristen Dasher scored the royals Lone goal in the third place game. The All tournament team which was selected by four aaa coaches and just one a coach also was an All aaa affair As no a teams were represented on the team. Corigliano and Kirsch join lady lion mates Erin Robins and Donna Jordan another basketball luminary. Wiesbaden a Beth Johnson Katie Huff Erin Hackmann and Deliece Gunnels were also named to the team. Rounding out the squad Are Kaiserslautern a Best and Cornett and Ramstein a Dasher and Angie  nip royals Hohenecker Germany the Patch panthers clawed their Way to the big schools boys soccer championship Here saturday defeating Ramstein 5-4 in a shootout after both teams had battled through two overtime periods to a 2-2 standoff. Eric Yount Scott Worthington Mike Barry Chris Foulk and Ryan Meno scored the shootout goals for Patch. Ryan finchum Jeremy Hawley Cary Belmear and Titus Cornell drilled shootout goals for the royals. However Ramstein missed its last two kicks and Patch prevailed. Belmear scoring off a feed from Cornell Puit Ramstein ahead 1-0 in the 25th minute of the first half. However the Lead was Short lived. Less than a minute later Foulk fed Ben Mensah from the Side and the panthers knotted the game.
