It also has an extensive collection of Folk Art from the Black Forest. Other major museums Are the museum of modern Art at Marie Strasse 10a, and the museum of ancient and Early history at Rotteck ring 5. Other landmarks Worth seeing Are the alte Rathhaus old City Hal the Hist Rische Kauhaus historic Market Halland the palais archbishop s Palace. But museums and historical monuments Are not All Freiburg has to offer. Shoppers can stroll streets lined with elegant Glass fronted shops that sell everything from the latest in haute couture to jewelry leather goods artwork and Antiques. The City has a Host of Fine restaurants and cafes. The Schlossberg a forested Hill on the Eastern Edge of town offers a splendid Panorama of the City with the dark Reddish purple roofs of the old town stretching away toward outlying residential areas and the Distant Rhine. The Schlossberg Heights can be reached via a five minute Cable car ride or gravel path. The Cable car station is in the stad Garten Only four blocks from the Cathedral.
