Gasoline accounted for nearly 90 percent of the transportation Rise. Medical care Rose 0.9 percent in line with a Long string of Sharp increases. Clothing and Upkeep costs were up a slight 0.1 percent. Tobacco was up 0.3 percent after having risen More than 2 percent in july. The various changes put the Index for All consumer goods at 131.6 in August.
