One of the problems is that during some part of the Day your time in t Worth much. At other times it s Worth its weight in Gold. This morning at a time i work Best i drove 45 minutes to get to work parked the car in a lot four blocks from Here and walked Uphill in the rain to the office. I got to the front door and someone got out of a chauffeur driven limousine with a newspaper under his Arm and a briefcase in his hand and took eight Steps into the building. Money had saved him time. He d even read the newspaper. I hated him. I be often driven for 20 minutes to a Gas station where i can buy Gas for 4 cents a gallon less than a place just Down the Street. If i buy 15 Gallons i save 60 cents. Should i Swap 60 cents for 20 minutes the Shoeshine shop charges $2 and you re expected to tip a Dollar. I m not cheap but i Shine my own shoes and save both time and Money. I try to do it at an hour when my productivity is Low. I was up on a ladder cleaning leaves out of the Gutter saturday and i thought if this ladder starts to go i m going to try to land in the Bushes to break my fall. My next thought was this is ridiculous. Save your Hospital time. Pay someone to do this Nasty Job for you. You could be in the living room watching the football  the idea of being driven to work in a limousine does t Appeal to me at any Price but having some one clean the gutters is another matter. I m Rich enough for that. Everyone spends Money saving time. In new York City i always take a taxi not the bus. On the other hand i d never pay for first class on an airline be cause it does t save you five seconds. I used to go to a Barbershop where i sat and waited until a Barber was free. Now i go to a shop which i can Call and make an appointment. It costs More but saves time. I have my pants pressed at the cleaners now in Stead of putting up the ironing Board and pressing two creases in each pan leg myself. On saturday mornings i buy two papers instead of one so i Don t have to wait until Margie s finished with the first Section to read it. I have my paycheck sent to the Bank through the mail because these Days i have enough left from last week to get me through the week until the Check gets to the Bank and clears. I used to pick up my pay Check from the cashier go to the Bank Cash it de posit some of it and then return to the office. It took me an hour. It was a waste of time but i needed the Money not next week not tomorrow but right then. There s no question about it saving time is one of the Best things about having Money.
